Jaime Arevalo is the Executive Chef and owner of Circle C Cafe & Catering. Jaime was born and raised in San Salvador, El Salvador. He came to the United States in 1983 and began his career in food preparation. In 1985 he completed a two-year apprenticeship at the Hyatt Hotel in Dallas. Jaime transferred to the Harvey Hotels where he became the Executive Chef at the Bristol Suites Hotel. Jaime moved to Austin in 1997 and received the position of Executive Chef at Barton Creek Country Club - Lakeside. As Exec. Chef at Barton Creek, Jaime catered parties for George Bush and Lady Bird Johnson. Jaime also served as Exec. Chef at world-renowned resort Palmilla. There he served guests such as Jaclyn Smith, Steven Spielberg, Mel Gibson, and Will Smith. He resigned from Barton Creek in 2001 to dedicate himself full time to his catering business.
Julie Arevalo is the catering manager for Circle C Café & Catering. Julie coordinates all the catering events. She graduated from University of North Texas in 1996 with a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management. After graduation she worked at the Bristol Suites in the sales department, Jaime was the Executive Chef. They married a year later and moved to Austin. They began their catering company and in 2000 opened Circle C Café & Catering located in the Circle C Swim Center. In 2004 they extended their business to the Wildflower Center where they operate the Wildflower Café, and cater all daytime events, as well as evening events.
